“Famous TV Host Reveals Shocking Solution to Mental Health Crisis – You Won’t Believe What She Says!”

By Familyguide Contributor

Kathie Lee Gifford has expressed her belief that turning to God is the ultimate solution for addressing mental health challenges.

In a recent conversation with Fox News, Gifford shared her perspective on the matter.

The discussion began with host Pete Hegseth referencing psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen’s statement:

We’re witnessing the start of a surge in brain and mental health issues among young people, largely due to increased disconnection. The solution lies in returning to church, getting involved, and finding community. There’s no better place to address these problems than within a faith community.

“Human beings aren’t designed for isolation,” Gifford remarked, expanding on the quote. “We thrive in community. It’s important to note that ‘church’ doesn’t necessarily mean a physical building. In Greek, it’s ‘ecclesia,’ which refers to a movement and a gathering of people.”

Gifford believes that a key issue facing Western Christianity is a lack of understanding about its origins. “Many of us have lost touch with our roots,” she explained. “We come from a grand narrative of God establishing a nation to bring the Messiah to the world, offering salvation to all of humanity.”

In an era marked by uncertainty and insecurity, Gifford emphasizes that God’s promises remain a constant source of comfort.

“The one thing you can always rely on is that God will fulfill His promises,” Gifford stated confidently.

Faith plays a central role in Gifford’s life, and she frequently shares resources to help her followers strengthen their own spiritual journeys. Her latest contribution is a book titled “Herod and Mary: The True Story of the Tyrant King and the Mother of the Risen Savior.”

The book’s synopsis describes it as “a compelling work of narrative nonfiction that delves into Herod’s rise to power, the corruption and ancient evil that threatened a nation’s stability, and how a young Mary was called to navigate these challenges to bring the Savior, Jesus, our living hope, into the world.”

Reflecting on her inspiration for the book, Gifford shared, “I’m intrigued by the significant, evil presences throughout scripture, always contrasted with God’s goodness and the hope He provides.”

Recently, Gifford has been recovering from hip replacement surgery and a fractured pelvis. Familyguide previously reported:

Former talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford, 70, was recently hospitalized after a fall that resulted in fracturing her pelvis in two places.

The incident occurred shortly after Gifford had exerted herself by moving 300 books on her own. The following day, she tripped while walking to her front door.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Gifford provided more details about the accident.

“It didn’t take much to cause the injury, as I was already weakened in that area. Before I knew it, I was back in the hospital with a fractured pelvis, both in the front and back. The pain from this is even more intense than what I experienced with the hip. A pelvic fracture is incredibly painful. But here I am, pushing through.”
