Dallas and Amanda Jenkins have unveiled an exciting new project: an interactive Bible study inspired by the fourth season of THE CHOSEN. This innovative study guide, titled “God’s Blessings for the Chosen,” serves as a companion piece to the show’s latest installment.

The study aims to help readers reframe their challenges and view them as opportunities for spiritual growth. According to a recent press release, it offers “insights on how to perceive hardships as fertile ground for God’s goodness to flourish in their lives.”

“God’s Blessings for the Chosen” presents eight comprehensive lessons that explore how the Divine utilizes adversity to bring about positive change in the lives of His beloved. The study delves into various thought-provoking topics, including coping with loss, focusing on eternal matters, the transformative power of love in the face of heartbreak, and understanding the completeness of God’s divine plan.

The press release emphasizes that “Participants will be encouraged to embrace life’s difficulties and discover the richness of God’s goodness waiting on the other side.” The lessons in this study align closely with themes explored in THE CHOSEN’s fourth season, which creator Dallas Jenkins has described as “increasingly profound.”

Jenkins shared with Fox News, “While it might not seem like the best promotion to say a season will have moments of sadness, I believe it’s a crucial part of the narrative. However, I want to assure viewers that there’s also plenty of joy, laughter, and miraculous moments to experience… As we approach the midpoint of the series, tension builds and opposition intensifies. We’re gradually moving towards events that viewers are anticipating.”

Currently, the cast and crew of THE CHOSEN are immersed in the production of Season 5. Jenkins revealed to Variety, “This upcoming season features some truly remarkable Biblical moments. We’ll see Jesus directly confronting religious leaders, delivering powerful truths and unforgettable statements.”

He added, “While this season carries significant weight due to impending events, it also promises to be engaging and even enjoyable in parts. We felt it was important to balance the tone, as we couldn’t have three consecutive seasons filled solely with pain and hardship. Season 5 showcases some triumphant moments before we dive into the more challenging content of Season 6.”

Familyguide previously reported on the renewal of THE CHOSEN for its fifth season, with filming set to commence in April. The production will begin in Utah for six weeks before relocating to its primary filming location in Texas.

Jenkins explained to Variety, “The overwhelmingly positive reception of Season 4 has given us a boost as we prepare for filming. Of course, we’re about to depict the most significant week in human history, so any sense of accomplishment from the previous season quickly fades. While the entirety of Season 6 will focus on a single day, covering a full week in Season 5 feels quite expansive by comparison.”

The fifth season will pick up immediately after the events of Season 4, beginning with Holy Week. Jenkins elaborated to Deseret News, “This is when the plot intensifies, and we’ll see Lazarus in hiding due to the events of Season 4. Season 5 covers what is arguably the most crucial week in history, while Season 6 will depict the most important day.”
