“Actor’s Spiritual Journey: How Faith Transformed His Hollywood Career in Unexpected Ways”

By Familyguide Contributor

Cameron Arnett, a talented actor, expresses his gratitude for his role in the upcoming series THESE STONES, describing it as “a gift.”

“I’m incredibly thankful,” he shared with Familyguide about his part in the show. “Cheryl McKay is giving us the opportunity to truly humanize the scriptural aspects. It’s a pleasure and a blessing to portray such a character.”

THESE STONES follows “a young woman who becomes involved in a supernatural system where Bible characters work undercover to assist people in modern times,” as stated on the show’s official website.

Arnett highlighted the show’s humor, noting, “The Lord allows us to gain insight into Him through laughter, which is truly wonderful. I’m excited for audiences to really delve into it.”

“While it’s rooted in scripture, it’s also funny and quirky. We get to laugh at ourselves, at the characters, and journey together as an audience alongside them,” he added.

Arnett also discussed how his personal faith influences his acting career.

“Personal faith is crucial,” he stated. “Your relationship with Christ as your Lord, Savior, and King is paramount to everything else. It takes precedence over all.”

The actor elaborated, “While I find joy in portraying Aaron and being part of the film, true fulfillment comes from being in the Word and having the universe’s creator communicate with you.”

In addition to THESE STONES, Arnett recently starred in THE FORGE, a spin-off of the Kendrick Brothers’ WAR ROOM.

“THE FORGE offers a glimpse into all our lives,” he told CHVN Radio. “We’ve all been like Isaiah, uncertain of our path and questioning our identity. Through God’s grace, he encounters Joshua Moore, a mature and seasoned Christian who takes him under his wing. We witness the growth process and see what discipleship looks like when someone with God’s heart imparts wisdom to a younger individual and truly listens.”

He continued, “My wife and I pastored for nearly two decades, and discipleship is close to my heart. We did that within the church walls for many years, and now to see God take us beyond those walls to present a picture of discipleship is truly an honor. When I look at Joshua and Janelle, I see Cameron and BJ as the same people. It resonated immediately, without any doubt. I believe we were destined for these roles.”
