Actress’ Baby Only Wanted THIS?! God SHOCKED Her With The Truth!

Children often provide us with unexpected insights into the nature of God. Actress Alexa PenaVega shared a story of how her then five-month-old son, Ocean, revealed a powerful message that the Lord was trying to communicate to her.

“If you desire humility, have children, because they will swiftly humble you and impart so much wisdom. The Lord uses them to capture your heart. And He certainly did that with Ocean,” the mother recounted in a conversation with Stream Studio. “He was around five months old, and I had spread out all these toys on the floor for him, attempting to engage him in play. But really, I just wanted him to look at me. You know, typical mom wanting to see his sweet little smile. So, I kept picking up a toy, but I also kept bringing it closer to my face to say hi. But he just kept his focus on the toy, and I was saying, ‘Oh, Ocean. Hi, hi.’ But his eyes remained fixed on everything else on the floor.”

“So, I decided to clear everything away, removing all the distractions that kept him from looking at me,” she explained. “And that’s when he finally saw me. He met my gaze. And then he broke into a smile and started giggling, which filled my heart with so much joy. But it was a real revelation for both of us because it wasn’t just a simple case of a child looking at his mom. I truly felt like God was telling me, ‘That’s exactly what I’m trying to do for you. For you and Carlos, I simply want you to focus on me.'”

As all parents are aware, life with children can be incredibly hectic, making it a challenge to dedicate time to God.

“It’s easy to fall into periods of saying, ‘Lord, I’m incredibly busy. I’m so sorry. There’s just an overwhelming amount going on,’” PenaVega confessed. “Especially as a mother. I adore my children, but carving out quiet time with God is incredibly difficult. It’s not like the old days when I would retreat to my prayer closet for hours of uninterrupted time with the Lord. However, that doesn’t mean He can’t connect with me, and it doesn’t mean I can’t connect with Him.”

She continued, “And I believe that moment was a profound realization, ‘Oh my gosh, God, thank you for revealing this to me now, sparing me from having to learn this lesson through a more challenging or difficult path.’ It was undeniably an eye-opening moment, realizing, ‘You simply desire my attention, Lord.’”

PenaVega and her husband, Carlos, deeply cherish their time with their children: sons Ocean, 8, and Kingston, 5, and daughter Rio, 3.

“No…we don’t celebrate Halloween…what do we do instead? Dress up in our matching christmas pj’s and watch movies and open Pokemon packs!” she shared on Halloween, accompanied by adorable family photos.

The PenaVegas publicly shared the heartbreaking news of their youngest daughter, Indy’s, stillbirth in April 2024.

“Your lowest point can be transformed into your greatest triumph, and swiftly, if you simply surrender control to God,” Alexa expressed regarding Indy’s passing during an appearance on the “Got It From My Momma” podcast.

“It holds two truths simultaneously,” the SPY KIDS actress added. “It carries immense pain, which is undeniably hurtful, but it also embodies abundant life, which might sound strange. She carries so much joy. I never imagined experiencing both joy and loss concurrently, yet I derive immense joy from her life. But what He accomplished through that loss, and the purpose He revealed through that pain — it was not without significance.”

Just as God reminded PenaVega, we all must eliminate distractions to spend time in His presence.
