Familyguide

THE CHOSEN Season 6 trailer dropped this morning, showcasing the emotional aftermath for the disciples following Jesus' arrest. Here’s Familyguide's distinct take, focusing solely on the trailer and our expectations for the upcoming season.

**Worldview:** A powerful Christian, biblically-grounded perspective, illustrating Jesus, his followers, and his family after his apprehension for trial. Key biblical occurrences are dramatized, and scriptures are directly cited.

**Violence:** The trailer shows the crown of thorns being forced onto Jesus' head, hostile throngs, an object being hurled at a disciple, Jesus being scourged, Jesus heavily bleeding as he bears the cross, a rope and tree suggesting a suicide attempt, Jesus being struck, and Jesus with a visibly swollen eye.

**Language:** The term "damn" is uttered as disciples discuss the repercussions of Jesus’ betrayal.

**Nudity:** Features upper male nudity.

**Sexual Content:** No sexual content is shown.

**Alcohol and Drug Use/Abuse:** No depiction of alcohol or drug use/abuse, though it is known Jesus was offered wine.

**Miscellaneous Immorality:** Themes of betrayal, conspiracy, and deceit are present.

**Initial Impression:** From what the trailer reveals, this season might present a more intense and raw portrayal than its predecessors, yet it remains faithful to biblical accounts.
